After 9 years, I returned to Steinbeis School of International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIBE) University in Stuttgart, Germany, where I completed my LLM in International Business Law in 2015. I was welcomed by the Head of Innovation & International Projects Carolina de Rezende Vaz da Costa, to discuss crucial topics such as the hashtag ESG and hashtag Sustainability vision in the current European Union context and collaboration with the LLM program.
Being a student at Steinbeis during my LLM was a remarkable experience, particularly for the opportunity to learn from all the professors, including Professor Dr. Eva Feldbaum who still leads as Director at the institution. At that time, I had the opportunity to present the book “Bioethics and Sustainability,” and recently, following the same thematic line, I shared with the institution my book “ESG, the Green Swan, and Stakeholder Capitalism: The Regenerative Triad of the Global Future.” Over the years, my connection with Steinbeis has only grown stronger.
In 2021, I had the honor of representing Steinbeis at the “RE-THINKING (IN)EQUALITY” conference, in cooperation with Eurac Research, alongside CEO Prof. Dr. Stefanie Kisgen. Stefanie highlighted the importance of disruptive leadership and the implementation of sustainable changes in companies, complementing my presentation on the ESG context, focusing on economic, environmental, social, and governance aspects, particularly gender inequalities in leadership positions. I also spoke about the work of the Compliance Women Committee.
It is always a pleasure to return to the institution that contributed so much to my education and to see how it continues to innovate and lead such relevant discussions. Special thanks to Professor Liane Windisch, Dr. Ineke Blumenthal and Prof. Dr. Heiko von der Gracht for the collaboration!
Many memories of my LLM colleagues (who appear in the photo) and Professors Giovani Ribeiro, João Zolandek, and Peter Dostler, who were part of this journey.
